A trade mark only protects you for the goods and services you register it for. Worldwide those are grouped into 45 classes (the Nice Classification). Describe your business and we will point you to the right ones — no jargon.
What are Nice classes?
Every trade mark filing must list the goods and services you want protected. The Nice Classification groups these into 45 numbered classes (1–34 goods, 35–45 services). You pay government fees per class, and you only get protection in the classes you actually choose.
How to pick the right one
- Describe what you actually sell or do, not just your company name.
- Cover the core product or service first, then add related classes.
- If you sell your own goods online, you usually need both the product class and Class 35 (retail / e-commerce services).
- More classes means more fees, so avoid vague “just in case” choices.
